REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
ACTIVE PARTICIPATION
Active participant may perform for maximum 25 minutes at the Congress (as soloist, as a member of duo, trio, quartet, quintet, chamber ensemble or any other formation or with any other instruments or orchestra soloist), and may attend all performances within the scope of the Congress. Each saxophonist who at the Congress performs as soloist or member of a duo, trio, quartet, chamber ensemble with less than 13 members, etc., is liable to an active participant's registration fee.
Each active participant may submit more than one proposal (for example one as a soloist with piano and one as a member of a quartet), but there is no guarantee that all his proposals will be accepted, but Organizing Committee will try to accept all proposals for non-orchestra performances. The registration period for solo performances with orchestras is finished. You can check the accepted performers in our Programme section.
Active participants can be saxophonists only. There are no other limitations for active participation (amateurs, students, professors, international soloists and other saxophonists are welcome).
Last day to register for active participation is February 15th 2006.
Last day to receive payment for active participation is April 30th 2006.
Last day to send us details of your accepted performance(s) is April 30th 2006.
PASSIVE PARTICIPATION
Saxophonists, registered as passive participant may not perform at the congress.
Non-saxophonists, registered as passive participant may perform as members of a formation that consists of at least one saxophonist.
They both may attend all performances within the scope of the Congress. There is no deadline for registration of passive participants, they may even register on-site, but the Organizing Committee recommends on-line registration.
DAILY PASSIVE PARTICIPATION
Saxophonists, registered as daily passive participant may not perform at the congress.
Non saxopohonists, registered as daily passive participant may perform as members of a formation that consists of at least one saxophonist.
They both enjoy the right to attend all performances within the scope of the Congress on the selected day. Passive daily participants can register on-site only - online registration is not available.
EXEMPTIONS
Persons exempt from any registration fees are: piano accompanists, members of rhythm sections, percussionists, organists and other non-saxophone players, provided they do not take any part in the Congress before and after their performance (do not attend the events within the scope of the Congress). If they want to attend performances or other events before or after their performance, they have to pay the registration fee for passive participation or daily passive participation.
ENSEMBLES WITH 13 MEMBERS (or more)
Ensembles with 13 saxophonists (or more) are a subject to a special fee of 500 EUR/ensemble (if paid until or on December 31st, 2005) or 750 EUR/ensemble (if paid between January 1st and April 30th, 2006). Such ensemble may perform up to 25 minutes. Before and after the performance members of such ensemble shall not take part in the Congress. Ensemble members who want to listen to other performances or perform as members of other ensembles too, shall register themselves as active, passive or daily passive participants according to the Terms and Conditions of Participation.

Last day to register such an ensemble is February 28th 2006.
Last day to receive payment for an ensemble is April 30th 2006.

PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION FEE
All payments should clearly state the participant's name and notification >14WSC<. Payments - without any charges of the beneficiary and payable to Cankarjev dom - are to be made by: Bank Transfer, Credit Card or Bank Cheque. There are further instructions in the registration form.
Each participant should pay the registration fee valid at the time when payment is received - no matter which time of payment was selected in his registration form. For example: in registration form I selected >payment received by December 31, 2005 - registration fee 120 EUR<. I made payment in February 2006. I should pay 160 EUR, because registration fee valid at the time it was received was 160 EUR. Only participants who will pay the appropriate registration fee will be allowed to participate.
Payments for Active Participants and orchestras (with 13 members or more) should be received by April 30th, 2006. Active Participants whose payment will be received after this date will not be scheduled in the Final Programme and will be treated as Passive Participants. Orchestras whose payment will be received after April 30th 2006 will not be scheduled in the Final Programme and will not be allowed to perform.
Registration fee returns: should a participant or orchestra who has settled his registration fee cancel participation until April 30th 2006, the organiser shall retain 50 EUR for administrative costs. Should a participant who has paid his registration fee cancel participation after the given date, the organiser shall retain the entire registration fee.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation can be booked via our on-line registration form no later than May 5th, 2006. As the number of rooms available for the Conference is limited, your choice of hotel can not be guaranteed after that date. Subsequent changes of selected accommodation will be subject to availability. Your choice of accommodation will be duly considered, and applications will be processed on a first come - first served basis. Of course you can make booking on your own. In both cases an early booking is strongly recommended!
Accommodation can be secured by credit card only. The number of your credit card with expiration date is required as a reservation guarantee. You will receive confirmation of your hotel booking as soon as we get your credit card information. All cancellations must be sent in writing and addressed to Cankarjev Dom . Cancellations received before May 10, 2006 are free of charge. After this date one night stay will be charged to your credit card.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Active and passive participants should fill in the first part of our on-line registration form that has 7 steps:

Step 7: Registration complete.
Active Participants should after completing the first part of the registration form click >Active Participation< button and proceed to the second part of the registration form (8 steps). There they should enter the information regarding their type of proposal, proposed composition, componist, performer, needed equipment and other details regarding their performance. They can fill in the information about their performance later but the last day to register is February 15th, 2006. (click here if you want to find out how to submit musical program after you have already a valid registration).
Active participants may play more compositions (within 25 minutes of performance time) but they have to fill in the second part of the registration form for each composition separately (for example: if I decide to play 3 compositions I have to fill in the second part three times - for each composition once).
All participants that will use on-line registration form will be issued an Access Key (one access key for the first part of the registration form, the other access key(s) for each proposed composition) after each part of the registration is completed. The access key(s) will be needed when participants access their application information in the future. They can add details and make changes to the application. These changes can be made by visiting the Registration page at the Congress website and entering the access key in the Editing Existing Registration section.
IMPORTANT: If you started the registration procedure but did not receive the Access Key it means that you did not register successfully. You have to repeat the registration procedure. In case of further troubles with the registration programme please write to: registration@cd-cc.si.
Ensembles with less than 13 saxophonists should register and pay the active participant's registration fee for each member individually. Each member should fill in the first part of the on-line registration form. In the field >Organization< each member should type the name of the ensemble. The second part of the registration form (details of performance) should be filled in for each ensemble only once.
Ensembleswith 13 saxophonists (or more) covered by section 8 of Terms and Conditions of Participation should not use on-line registration form. They should use a special form that can be found here instead.
Quartets (duos, trios etc) should register and pay the active participant's registration fee for each member individually. Each member should fill in the first part of the on-line registration form. In the field >Organization< each member should type the name of the quartet (duo, trio etc). The second part of the registration form (details of performance) should be filled in for each quartet (duo, trio etc) only once.

PHOTOS OF PERFORMERS, CDs
All active performers/ensembles should send their black-and-white photographs to the Organizing Committee so that they can be published in the official Congress' booklet. The photos shall be sent until March 31st 2006 to: wsc2006@cd-cc.si. In the Subject line please write your name (for soloists) or name of your group (for duos, trios, quartets etc.)
If your performance is a premiere, submit a copy of the score and audio CD by May 1st 2006. Please clearly identify your recording.
